Why should you be Joseph?
I feel I should be Joseph as this is something I truly want. I am passionate about this character and like many people, I have a part of my youth connected with the show. This was a touring production, and all I can remember is how involved I was with watching the show. I also believe I can give the public and the show the Joseph they know and love but with a new, fresh, individual stamp.

Why should you be Joseph?
Dream role?
Apart from playing Joseph, my dream role when I'm older would be the Phantom, I might try and talk to Andrew about that!
Favourite song?
I have two, they are 'This is the moment' from 'Jekyll and Hyde' and Westlife's 'You raise me up'.

Why should you be Joseph?
I have always gone to the theatre, even as a child, and out of all the musicals I have seen, Joseph has always stood out to be the part that most suits me.
Career highlight so far?
When I was 11, I got down to the last 15 for 'Billy Elliot' the film. I have also danced in Disneyland, California.
Dream role?
Obviously Joseph, but another dream role of mine is Ren in 'Footloose' and Chris from 'Miss Saigon'.

Why should you be Joseph?
I believe I am just what the show needs; a fresh, new face that people will want to see time and time again and it would be a dream come true to play Joseph.
Career highlight so far?
My career highlight would have to be performing at the Royal Albert Hall. I performed 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and 'Any Dream Will Do' backed by a massive choir.
Dream role?
It has always been my dream to be the youngest 'Phantom of the Opera', it's just an amazing part to play.

Why should you be Joseph?
Career highlight so far?
Working man to man with John Barrowman, has been both influential and emotional! I've learnt a lot off the guy.
Dream role?
The part of the Emcee in 'Cabaret' really stands out to me as a great role. I saw it recently and thought James Dreyfus was mint. It's just a real dark, funny and mysterious part for someone to get into and act. And he has all the best songs!
Favourite song?
Such a hard question! I'm into so many different styles of music. My iPod must have the most random selection ever! It goes from 'Sexy Back' to 'Phantom of the Opera'. But maybe my favourite song is James Morrison's 'You give me something' - such a quality, feel-good tune!

Why should you be Joseph?
The first show I ever saw, when I was four was Joseph. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat without blinking the whole way through. I grew up on the music and knew Joseph was my dream role. To be given a chance to play him is an opportunity of a lifetime. I think I'd bring a new, fun and fresh energy to the character.
Career highlight so far?
Well, I'm in my last year at College still so haven't really experienced a career. But the first professional job I had was as a dancer in 'The Wizard of Oz' when I was in my first year at College. Being a part of a big company was brilliant, and getting paid to do what I love was even better.
Dream role?
My dream role? God there's so many I'd love to play! I supposed it'd have to be Rusty in 'Starlight Express'. Again it was a show I grew up on, and I love the music, and skating around looks brilliant.
Favourite song?
I have such a wide selection of music I like, from Mcfly to musical theatre. I love all funky house too. I couldn't pick a favourite, honestly.

Why should you be Joseph?
I think I deserve to be Joseph because I believe I bring a contemporary edge to the role. With my soulful, pop voice, I think that I could bring the show up to date. I also remember as a child, singing the songs in the car and loving the show. I would love to be able to play the role instead of just being in the audience.
Career highlight so far?
For me this is my first experience in the industry so far, so this would have to be the highlight. Not only is this the best thing in my career but probably the most exciting and enjoyable experience in my life.
Dream role?
I have not been able to see lots of musicals so far but the two roles which I said that I would most enjoy and love play would be Gallileo from 'We Will Rock You'! Or for the fun aspect of the role Mickey from 'Blood Brothers' although I can't really do the Liverpool accent.
Favourite song?
I think there are two that I love: Bryan Adams' 'Heaven' as I love his vocal style, but my favourite song ever would have to be Lionel Ritchie's 'Truly'.

Why should you be Joseph?
I would like to use my pop background to give Joseph a more up-to-date and modern image. It is also a really fun role to play. I'm new to musical theatre and I feel I could give Joseph a fresh, edgy personality.
Dream role?
Any leading man who is a bit cheeky, sexy and always gets the girl!
Favourite song?
'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder, 'Rehab' by Amy Winehouse and 'Yeah' by Usher.

Why should you be Joseph?
Ever since I can remember I have loved this show. It is such a magical, special show, and when, as a child, I was taken to see it at the London Palladium with Philip Schofield in the role, I remember being utterly mesmerised. From that moment I have wanted to play Joseph: I believe I have the experience, stamina and passion to make the part new and exciting, whilst still possessing the qualities of innocence, self belief, humbleness and inner strength, all characteristics of Joseph. To play him would be a dream come true.
Career highlight so far?
This experience certainly comes very high up in my career highlights. I feel so lucky and honoured to be taking part and to have got this far in the competition. Other highlights include playing another favourite character of mine, 'Peter Pan' in a pantomime a few years ago. 'Peter Pan' is such a beautiful, magical story and I got to fly every night! I also feel lucky to have played Tony in 'West Side Story'. I believe this is one of the greatest musicals ever written and to sing such beautiful music night after night was amazing.
Dream role?
I don't really have one dream role, I have several! Rusty in 'Starlight Express', Jesus in 'Jesus Christ Superstar', Marius in 'Les Miserables' and more recently Princeton in 'Avenue Q'.
Favourite song?
I have such an eclectic taste in music, ranging from classical to cheesy pop ballads and so to pick one favourite song is very hard. A few come to mind; 'The Prayer' by Andrea Bocelli, Faure's 'Requiem', 'To where you are' by Josh Groban. My iPod has far too many songs on it!

Why should you be Joseph?
Like Joseph, I can be crazy, loud, highly energised, sometimes vulnerable, and other times quiet. I am truly passionate about music and performance and I would love the chance to show that on a stage. Everything happens for a reason in life, and this is mine, I wouldn't be here or have those who believe in me if I didn't know that I could be Joseph, and I have to remember that!
Career highlight so far?
This definitely has to be it! It's the biggest thing that has happened for me and I feel so lucky and fortunate that I can stand here as a potential Joseph! Wow!
Dream role?
Joseph of course! Duh! Erm... oh, I would love to be Simba from 'The Lion King' too! Marius in 'Les Miserables' maybe? One just isn't enough!
Favourite song?
I love too many, but one that does immediately spring to mind is 'Run to you' by the great Whitney Houston, fantastic! And 'Lately' by the legend himself, Mr Stevie Wonder.

Why should you be Joseph?
Because it's the only part I have ever lived, when I played Joseph - and I would love to re-live that feeling again.
Career highlight so far?
Being a victim in a re-enactment on 'Tonight with Trevor McDonald'.
Dream role?
Phantom because the part would be the ultimate achievement. The 'Judas' songs in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' are just awesome.
Favourite song?
'Always' from Bon Jovi has everything a song could need; I love that song.

Why should you be Joseph?
Aside from everyone telling me that I look like a Joseph (probably because of the hair) and apart from maybe looking good in a loin cloth, I hope that people will choose me for my voice and my acting. On a personal note, I want to be living proof that dreams do come true. I truly believe that I can make a contribution beyond the theatre walls.
Career highlight so far?
This may seem weird, but my biggest career highlight so far was actually a gig I couldn't do! Just being invited was a huge kick!! I was asked to perform at Live8 for two different artists; Madonna and Mariah Carey!! Unfortunately I had already said 'yes' to singing at a wedding on the day.
Dream role?
In addition to the role we're all competing for now, I have already thought that I would love to do something original and I would love to do something on a film! The film version of 'Moulin Rouge' is a good example and I have heard that there is going to be a film about the young singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley - that would be amazing!!!
Favourite song?
At the moment I keep hearing a My Chemical Romance song on the radio. I can't remember the name of it but I'm definitely going to get the album when I get a chance!
