Following his stint in Australia selling the Sydney Opera House to an unsuspecting punter, Mickey has returned to a new London. The credit crunch has hit Britain and while the majority of people are tightening their belts, there are still a scurrilous and greedy few who are getting ever richer from others’ losses – Mickey is keen to put new plans into action to extract their cash.
Mickey’s old crew has dispersed in his absence – Ash is back to short cons, Danny and Stacey are grifting their way across the USA, while Albert, Mickey’s old friend and mentor, has finally been busted and is currently detained at Her Majesty’s pleasure. Mickey is determined that he and Ash get a new crew together and get to work on a fresh new set of cons.
Starting with obnoxious business woman Sara, who has made a killing in the property market. Continually raising the stakes, Sara isn’t an easy mark to take, and the introduction of her hapless assistant Aaron is an element Mickey and Ash hadn’t accounted for.
However, Mickey and Ash are old hands and, posing as two city slickers, they set up an intricate stocks based plan to take Sara – but when the money goes missing, they realise Sara and Aaron aren’t at all what they seemed... Has Albert been playing them all and could Mickey have met his match?
