
Those who can, teach; those who can’t have a lot to learn at Waterloo Road Comprehensive School. Following the death of drama teacher Izzie Redpath, Waterloo Road is in the media spotlight as it returns for a third series. Head teacher Jack Rimmer is on a mission to embrace ‘inclusion’ at the school. However, much to the annoyance of new deputy head Eddie Lawson some pupils seem to be more ‘included’ than others.
As well as a host of new pupils to deal with, there are also some new faces in the staffroom. Drama teacher, Matt Wilding, plans to grab the headlines with the school’s first musical and work-shy Grantly is delighted to have new rookie Jasmine Koreshi to foist his dirty work upon. Meanwhile, Tom has his hands full playing single dad to two teenage girls and when caring, but inept, Steph Haydock is promoted to Head of Pastoral Care, it can only spell trouble…
